Women's Volleyball

Senior volleyball player Tara Powell has been named the Penn College Athlete of the Week for the period ending Oct. 28.

Powell helped lead Wildcat volleyball in a 2-0 week defeating PSU Mont Alto and PSU Brandywine in the PSUAC quarter and semifinals. Powell totaled 26 kills, 25 digs and six aces between the two matches. In addition, she earned a spot on the PSUAC women's volleyball all-conference, first team.

Powell and the Wildcats get back into action on Friday, Nov. 2nd taking on Daemen College at 1 p.m. at the USCAA National Championships in Canton, N.Y.
