Self-Scheduling


The self-scheduling system uses an interactive computer program that enables students to schedule their own classes and explore a variety of course options based on the recommendations of their advisers. Students will not be permitted to self-schedule if they do not have an adviser-signed profile.

Advisement Center and Registrar's staff will be available to answer questions and provide any assistance you might need as you are scheduling.

The program gives instructions and commands that will take you step by step through the scheduling process.

Additionally, along the bottom of the scheduling screen is a list of command options that allow you to choose specific actions. Some of those commands are, for example:

To prevent scheduling errors, the self-scheduling system will not allow you to schedule the following:

  • a class that is full
  • a class whose meeting time overlaps with that of another scheduled class 
  • a class that has an unsatisfied pre-requisite or co-requisite
  • a class that requires prior approval to schedule
