The Scheduling Process

Around mid-semester, you will receive information by mail and e-mail informing you of upcoming scheduling activity, and giving you instructions on meeting with your adviser and planning your schedule.

There is a two-week period during which students may see advisers to prepare for scheduling. You will need to make an appointment with your adviser during this time period. Your adviser will have received a copy of your scheduling profile from the Registrar's Office.

All course offering information is available online.

When you meet with your adviser, you will work together to create a schedule for the following semester. You and your adviser will complete the scheduling profile by filling in the courses you intend to take. When this process has been completed, take your profile with you to schedule.

Students: You must see your academic adviser prior to scheduling.

Your profile will indicate the time and date on which you may begin to schedule. The scheduling date and time are determined by the number of credits a student has earned in his or her current program. The computer will block a student from scheduling before the assigned date and time.

If you change your major, it is important to double-check your profile to make sure you have received credit for all appropriate courses.

See Registrar's Office for information on online scheduling.
