Placement Test Dates

Spring 2013 Placement Test Dates, for students who plan to begin classes in January 2013, will be posted in early September 2012.
On Test Day
What Time and What to Bring
Testing begins at either 10 a.m. or 12:30 p.m. in the Student & Administrative Services Center; please arrive 30 minutes prior to your start time for the check-in process. Testing materials will be provided, including pencils. You will need to bring with you the following:
- a form of identification, such as a driver's license
- optional - four function, scientific, or graphing calculator*
* It is not necessary to use a calculator on the math test; the test is designed to be completed with paper and pencil. If you do choose to use a calculator, you are limited to one of the three options listed above. Any other electronic device is prohibited.
Student ID Photo
On test day, plan to have your photo taken for your Penn College Student ID card in Room 108 of the Bush Campus Center (CC). See Photo ID Center hours. You may visit the center during business hours either prior to placement testing (if you arrive early) or after you have completed testing.

Testing Accommodations
If you have a disability and/or believe you may require special testing accommodations, you must call Penn College's Disability Services Office at 570-326-3761, ext. 7803 to make the necessary testing arrangements. Testing accommodations are offered on specified dates; you will need to work with Disability Services to schedule the appropriate test date.
