CLEP Testing
Pennsylvania College of Technology is a CLEP test center.
CLEP Exam Information
The College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) exam is a computerized test that allows students to demonstrate their existing knowledge of a subject area in an effort to earn college credit. Please see the CLEP Web site for important CLEP testing details before registering for a test.
If you attend or plan to attend Penn College, refer to the College's CLEP Web page for a list of exams and qualifying scores, for which you may receive college credit .
If you attend or plan to attend another college, you must consult with that college or university to see which exams may be accepted for college credit.
Registration and Test Dates
Fill out the CLEP Registration Form to register for a test date.
Tests are administered on specific dates and times (see list below). Walk-ins are not accepted.
- Wednesday, October 21 at 1 p.m.
- Thursday, October 29 at 9 a.m.
- Wednesday, November 11 at 9 a.m.
- Thursday, November 19 at 1 p.m.
- Monday, December 14 at 9 a.m.
Fees
You will pay the CLEP exam fee online, by credit card, directly to College Board before beginning the exam on your test date. See exam fee information on the CLEP site.
Please note that you must be prepared to submit payment to College Board by credit card only. Other forms of payment will not be accepted at the test center.
Penn College does not charge an administration fee.
What to Bring
You must bring the following items to the test center:
- Current driver's license (other acceptable forms of identification)
- Credit card (required for payment of exam fee)
Prohibited Items
It is important that you read and comply with the list of Items Not to Bring to the Test Center, as failure to do so will result in dismissal from the test center. Penn College will not hold or store personal items during testing.
