Free Tutorial Services
Penn College's Tutoring Center provides academic assistance in math, English, writing, and a variety of other courses to all students FREE of charge.
Services include:
- Walk-in tutoring for most math and English classes offered at Penn College
- Walk-in and by-appointment tutoring for a variety of technical courses
- On-site tutoring in various labs on campus
- In-class tutoring for developmental math and some technical courses
The Tutoring Center has earned Advanced/Level II Certification from the College Reading & Learning Association (CRLA).

Online Tutoring Service
Students can also receive tutoring from any computer to communicate online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in accounting, biology, chemistry, economics, math (basic through calc II), physics, Spanish, statistics, and writing through SMARTHINKING.
