Who are we?

Student Support Services Program, a federally-funded TRIO Program, is designed to help participants earn a college degree. A recent study by the U.S. Department of Education showed that participants in Student Support Services programs have a higher GPA and earn a greater number of credits per semester than non-participants.

Tutoring, guidance, developmental course instruction, and workshops that emphasize critical and analytical thinking, study skills and time management are just a few of the support services we offer. These services, in addition to one-on-one advising, counseling, peer mentoring and peer coaching, could be the added support a student needs to make it through graduation. The career counseling we provide will help raise awareness of job opportunities and prepare students for entry or re-entry into the world of work.
