Immersed in real-world environments, like our experimental forest and on-site sawmill, you’ll get hands-on experience with data collection tools, explore wildlife, study land management, and learn about timber harvesting.

Forest Technology (A.A.S.)

This program takes a hands-on approach that prepares you for technical and mid-management positions in forestry production, wood processing, federal and state agencies, and manufacturing industries.

Bachelor Degree Pathway

Rise to administrative and management positions in your field with an Applied Management (B.S.) Online degree.

Minors & Immersions

Pair a minor with any bachelor's degree, or an immersion with any bachelor's or associate's degree.

Earth Science campus is site of FFA regional competition

Penn College’s Schneebeli Earth Science Center was the site for the Pennsylvania Future Farmers of America Northern Region Competition, held Tuesday with about 175 high school students in attendance. The FFA chapter members hailed from 25 schools in the Northern Region's 22 counties.

Penn College crew beautifies downtown garden plot

Several members of the Horticulture Club worked with their faculty adviser and a streets and parks employee from the city's Department of Public Works (a Penn College graduate) to refresh a rain garden along Pine Street in downtown Williamsport.

Penn College to host international Baja SAE competition

During the past decade, Pennsylvania College of Technology’s Baja SAE team members have journeyed more than 20,000 miles to test their talent. Next year, they will travel less than 10 from main campus to do that. Penn College will host a Baja SAE competition May 16-19 at its Schneebeli Earth Science Center near Montgomery and Allenwood. Dubbed Baja SAE Williamsport, the international event is expected to attract 80-plus teams and about 800 competitors.
