Workforce Development & Continuing Education Activity

- Noncredit workforce development instruction:
- 5,261 students trained in traditional noncredit courses
- 242 students trained in online noncredit courses
- 5,503 total noncredit students trained
- Through Pennsylvania’s Guaranteed Free Training program (WEDnetPA), WDCE administered workforce development grants to 1,595 companies totaling $16.3 million to train 89,710 employees in 2008-2009.
Community Arts Center
- Since opening in May 1993, the Community Arts Center has hosted 146,741 patrons for movies and 940,829 for live events for a total of 1,087,570 as of August 31, 2009.
