Penn College NOW

In an effort to expose more high school students to careers in plastics and polymer technology, Penn College partners with local high schools to provide a dual enrollment course that allows high school students to earn Penn College credits during their school day. The Plastics Industry course (PPT 115) is offered at three high schools this year; a total of 25 students are enrolled.

Dr. Kirk M. Cantor, professor of plastics and polymer engineering technology, mentors high school teachers to enable the course to be taught at the high school with the same rigor as it is offered at Penn College. Students receive transcripted college credit and high school credit for their effort.
